The Gremlin has always been the loud little troublemaker of the AMC family; the car people love to tease, yet it’s the one everyone recognizes the second it rolls in. AMC even leaned into that mischievous vibe from day one, marketing it as “a pal to its friends and an ogre to its enemies,” which honestly tells you everything about its attitude. Over time it went from punchline to cult favorite; once you spend five minutes around AMC folks you realize the Gremlin is not weird, it’s iconic.
