Aromantic, or aro, people experience little to no romantic attraction. They may still form deep platonic or queerplatonic bonds and can be of any sexual orientation. Aromanticism is independent of sexuality and challenges the idea that romantic relationships are necessary for fulfillment. The aromantic flag stands for a valid and often misunderstood identity that deserves visibility and respect. We're proud to stand with the aromantic community as allies, advocates, and friends.
